Unique in the Netherlands
All over the world, the key to successful business is more and more based on the performance of your Human Resource or Human Capital. International organizations and their staff continually need to adapt to shifts in the external environment and have to feel ‘at home’ anywhere in the world. This programme is aimed at advancing the understanding of human behaviour in the workplace and the contribution of Human Resource (HR) policies and practices to the effectiveness of organizations. This is unique in The Netherlands!

Sparring Partner
A thorough understanding of business-oriented HR and an adequate translation of the international (corporate) strategy into relevant and modern HR policies and procedures, is what businesses expect from you. As you have profound knowledge of change processes, you will be a well-trained professional with a broad set of culturally adapted skills and demonstrate a professional approach as a sparring partner of the management.

Opleidingsinhoud

First year
During the first year of International Human Resource Management, you will get in-depth knowledge of the relationship between human behaviour, work and organisations and human resource at organisations.

Second year
The emphasis during the second year of IHRM lies on understanding human resource management in relation to business disciplines and principles.

Third year
After gaining in-depth knowledge during your first two years about IHRM, you will learn how to approach HR from a strategic angle and how to guide organisation through periods of change during your third year. You will also learn the principles of the new work environment on e.g. leadership, organisation, human resource and advisory skills.

Fourth year
During your fourt and final year, you will complete an internship and write your Bachelor thesis within an international oriented organisation.

Vooropleiding

Als je je voor een hoger beroepsopleiding wilt inschrijven, moet je rekening houden met een aantal spelregels. Je moet je uiterlijk op 1 mei via Studielink aanmelden. Verder is het verplicht om deel te nemen aan een studiekeuzecheck. Bij Saxion houdt dat in dat je verplicht moet deelnemen aan intakeactiviteiten die gevolgd worden door een studiekeuzeadvies.
De Engelstalige studieroute International Human Resource Management valt onder de opleiding Human Resource Management. Om te kunnen beginnen met de studieroute International Human Resource Management, moet je voldoen aan de toelatingseisen van de betreffende studieroute.

Opleidingsduur

4 jaar

Kosten

In het hoger onderwijs moet je collegegeld betalen aan de hogeschool of universiteit die door de overheid gefinancierd wordt. Bij een hoger onderwijsinstelling die door de overheid gefinancierd wordt, is het collegegeld voor bepaalde groepen vastgesteld. Naast deze kosten krijg je te maken met schoolkosten, zoals boekenkosten, reiskosten etc. Deze bijdrage verschilt per school.

• Voltijdse opleiding:
  

Voor het studiejaar 2019/2020 (start 1 september) is het wettelijke collegegeld vastgesteld op € 2.083,-

• Deeltijd of duale opleiding:
  

Volg je een deeltijd of duale opleiding dan bedraagt het collegegeld voor het studiejaar 2019/2020 tussen de € 1.240,- en de € 2.083,-. Dit bedrag wordt door de instelling vastgesteld.

Het wettelijk collegegeld wordt jaarlijks geïndexeerd.
